TikTok Stuck At 200 Views? A Founder Checklist Before You Panic

A practical diagnostic flow to isolate whether your low views are content quality, account trust, or location-signal mismatch.

1) Rule out content mismatch first

Before you touch infrastructure, check your last 10 posts. If retention drops in the first 1-2 seconds, the problem is usually creative, not account suppression.

Compare hook style, posting time, and topic relevance to your top performers. If those are inconsistent, fix creative variables first so you do not misdiagnose a distribution issue.

2) Check account trust and behavior stability

Accounts lose reliability when behavior changes too fast: different devices, frequent logins from new locations, or heavy delete/repost loops. Keep one device per account and avoid rapid context switching.

If you changed SIM, phone, timezone, VPN profile, and posting cadence in the same week, isolate variables. Change one thing at a time and measure for at least 7 days.

3) Audit your location signal stack

For US audience targeting, your IP, timezone, and app-language context should not conflict. Mixed signals can cause unstable distribution rather than immediate hard blocks.

A stable dedicated residential signal per device is usually easier to operate than rotating shared exits when your goal is consistency over novelty.

4) Decide whether to fix or replace setup

If your creative is strong and behavior is clean but views remain capped for 2-3 weeks, your setup is likely the bottleneck. Move to a cleaner, one-device-one-identity workflow before replacing the account.

Do not reset everything at once. Preserve your audience learning where possible, then improve delivery reliability with controlled changes.
